for the model of the ES-2 dummy of LS-DYNA
The LS-DYNA finite element model of the FAT ES-2 dummy is developed,
supported and distributed by DYNAmore GmbH and partners. The dummy model
is developed in conjuction with the German Association for Automotive Research (FAT).
The model is permanently improved and fully validated in accordance to the
physical Side Impact Dummy. The actual FE model shows a good consistency compared
to the physical dummies, not only in their overall kinematic behavior but also for
accelerations, velocities, forces, and intrusions measured at certain points of the dummy.
